Ok so here's my dilemma. Im going to try and explain what wrong as best as I can.
I have the X5 mini and I'm using to control a cartesian style printer. I am using a inductive style probe like printrbot uses. I have it hooked straight up to the probe port in the X5 mini. Im not using any voltage divider as the probe port can supply 5 volts although I may change that as the probe says it needs 6 volts. I dont have z endstops. In fact I changed the gamma end stop to use the same pin as the zprobe. If I shouldnt be doing this please let me know.
Here is where my problems start. the z offset function in the config file has no effect what so ever. No matter what I try, whether it be negative or positive values nothing changes. I really honestly have no clue what I should actually be doing regarding how to get the probe working properly because zprobe documentation is frankly awful.
If someone could give me like a step by step guide on what I should do to calibrate the probe or how to properly set it up that would be greatly appreciated. It is imperative that I get this working because a group of people and I are developing a printer to bring to the market in the next month or two.
